Export settings

Whenever starting a new project you may want to reuse the same table presets and other project settings used in a different project. To do so you have several options:

  • Export settings - using this function all project settings will be exported.

Start by navigating to the Tools sub-menu by clicking on the drop-down menu and choosing the option Export settings.

The new pop-up window will appear where you will need to give a name and choose a directory where you want to save your file. To finalize the action click Save. Lastly, you should get the message "Project settings were successfully exported".

  • Export specific settings - using this function you can choose which project settings you want to export.

The process is fairly the same navigate to the Tools sub-menu click on the drop-down menu and choose the option Export specific settings. After clicking on the Export specific settings function new pop-up window will appear where you will need to choose the settings that you want to export.

After the selection is done click on Export selected. This is followed by a new pop-up window where you will need to give a name and choose a directory where you want to save the file. To finalize the function click Save. Lastly, you should get the message "Project settings were successfully exported".

Import Settings

To import the previously-saved settings in a new design, click on Import settings; A new pop-up window will appear where you will need to choose exported project settings file. To finalize, click on Open - you will then get a message message "Project settings were successfully imported".

Note: Be aware that this will replace the current presets and settings of the new design.

Should you already have a few frames presets and just want to add the ones from another design (without deleting the existing ones), instead of using the Import settings function, open the Frame and park settings menu and click on the Append presets button a new pop-up window will appear where you will need to choose exported project settings file; Click on Open and you will get the message "Project settings were successfully appended".

Reset settings

Should you want to reset all the project settings navigate to the Tools sub-menu by clicking on the drop-down menu and choosing the option Reset settings. The new pop-up window will appear asking "Are you sure you want to reset settings?" to reset the settings; Click Yes if you want to do so, if you do not want to proceed to click No.
