Improvement in strings labeling was introduced to be able to name strings in groups rather than one by one. There is a labeling button in the cabling configuration tab that when clicked opens the Labelling interface. Next, there is a possibility to click on any part of the label to edit it as shown below. You can also change the order and turn on and off the components of the label.
