Mechanical Labeling Manager
Mechanical labels ensure alignment between all stakeholders and minimize data risk during all project phases, especially detailed design, construction planning, and operations & maintenance.
Now, we start centralizing the mechanical labeling functionality within a single interface while adding more customization options. You will have greater control over the labels applied to areas, rows, frames, and piles.
Where
'Labeling' button in the Frame creation tab.
How
Select the area you need to label.
Use the dropdowns to customize the numbering order, and click on the area, row, or frame names in the preview to change their naming or order.
Clicking on 'Label area' will print the labels to the selected area(s), and update any label already present.
Piles Grouping by length
Pile lengths are computed up to two decimals’ places in PVcase Ground Mount, but in the real world, piles come in fixed-length increments to simplify their manufacturing and installation.
With this capability, you now have a new analysis tool to see how many piles belong to each length group and how they're spatially distributed, allowing you to spot problematic areas in need of changes to either pole lengths or grading.
Summary information can also be printed to the model space, and it will be included in the bill of materials automatically, respecting the last settings used.
Where
'Pile grouping' in the 'Show piling' dropdown.
How
For one or multiple areas, you can define the start and end values of the length groups and the increments between each.
Group colors are customizable.
Clicking 'Group piles' will color each pile according to its length group.
Finally, 'Export to CAD' lets you print the summary table to the model space.
