Capacity Target
Capacity Iteration lets users quickly check a range of row pitches and tilt angles to see possible system sizes for your PV areas.
Now, it is also possible to define a Capacity Target: the iteration engine will perform three stages of refinement to find the scenarios that most closely match the given target.
Where
Under Capacity Iteration, enable the Capacity Target option.
How
Enter your chosen target for the system size and hit Iterate. The scenario(s) most closely matching will be pinned to the top of the scenario list.
Frame Grouping: area updates automatically when adding electrical devices
When moving from the preliminary to the detailed design phase, it's expected that electrical devices such as combiners, transformers, or inverters are added to the design.
Once the electrical devices are added, the Frame Grouping hatch and hatch boundary are updated to match the strings that are actually linked to the same transformer or central inverter.
If the updated area now extends into an existing Frame Grouping area, the original Frame Grouping area is reduced. The electrical overview has also been updated according to the changes.
Minor updates
-
Frame Grouping: when a powerstation is deleted, so is the group hatch, and the powerstation offset.
-
The mechanical label will automatically update when changing frame piling settings.
-
Export to Yield: the terrain is trimmed to improve performance.
