Cable Separation
In order to get the most out of construction-level cabling design, it is important to be able to specify the details of cable management under the ground.

How far are the cables separated from each other?

How deep are they laid?
-
How many cables can be added per layer?
These factors affect not only the trench dimensions but also the electrical cable sizing. These details allow a much more accurate calculation of the available current carrying capacity.
Cable separation works for any cable generated along a trench line. The inputs will be used to place the cables whether you choose 2d or 3d generation. Most importantly, you can see the separation of the cables when you look at them in CAD.

How
You can enter parameters for cable vertical and horizontal spacing, as well as the number of layers. When you hit Generate, the cables will be placed according to these inputs. You can also run 3d generation so that the trench line follows the terrain. But wait! there's more! Hit the Export cross-section, and click on the trench line, to show the cable placement at that location.
Electrical Labelling Order
The components of the device label can now be reordered, and if desired, made invisible. This works for string labels now and will be updated for other devices in future releases.

How
Click on the component of the string label. You can move its position within the label by using the arrow buttons. To make the component invisible (or visible again) use the light bulb icon. You can generate some new electrical devices with this labelling, or hit Update to change existing electrical labels.
Vertical PV
Building on our updates to improve agricultural PV applications, we have allowed the PV tilt angle to be increased to a vertical angle.

How
Enter the Frame Tilt angle up to 90° for your Frame Preset. The azimuth can also now be entered up to 90°, for situations where you want the PV in an East-West orientation. (Some visualisations are disabled for the high tilt angle)

Terrain cross section / front view has been updated to show 5cm accuracy instead of 50cm. Previously, this lack of accuracy was causing some confusion about the accuracy of PVcase Ground Grading calculation at the edges of the frames.

After swapping preset, the electrical design including string numbering and cabling will also swap onto the new preset. The old and new presets must have the same number of rows and columns of PV modules. This means you can perform the electrical design earlier, knowing that the design will be kept even if you need to adapt or swap the frames.

If you have two areas with different azimuths on one electrical device, the cabling will now work correctly and follow the frames in each area.
