New features
Leapfrog Stringing
We introduced the Leapfrog module connection method to enable stringing of panels by not requiring a return cable. When enabled, it will skip every other panel to the end of the array and return on alternate panels to the starting point. Before, you were only able to string with the Daisy-Chain technique; now you can utilize the Leapfrog technique to reduce voltage drop and cable length.
Improvements
Convert to PVcase: convert 3D polylines to PVcase roofs
Building on top of existing capabilities, Convert to PVcase Roof Mount can now convert 3D polylines into PVcase roofs. If you have a roof surface that is made of a single polyline and is planar, Roof Mount is able to convert easily into our roof and you can continue to place modules.
Convert to PVcase: azimuth detection enhancement
Before the enhancement, you would need to select Base Points and manually compare the best fitting selection for conversion. With this enhancement, Roof Mount can better detect module azimuth, enabling faster and more accurate module conversion. If the azimuth detected is incorrect, use the Azimuth Correction dropdown to adjust accordingly.
Convert to PVcase: specify gap between E/W modules
With this new enhancement, you can now specify the gap you’d like to have in between the E and W modules when converting. Please note that with the current capability, when users use E/W conversion, one selected module will be converted into an East-West set.
Roof Builder interface revamp
Roof Mount’s Roof Builder got a new look! You can now easily identify the features relevant to building (or picking) a roof or adding details to an existing roof with Roof tools, Shading objects and other editing tools.
Minor updates & bug fixes
Energy simulation report
Monthly AC Yield graph in Energy Simulation now shows detailed kWh.
