The Component library allows you to create module and inverter presets, and then select them from a drop-down throughout the software. This way, you can easily customize rooftop layouts to best use the available space and make sure the system meets the desired power capacity.

Overview
In the Modules tab, you can manage the modules in your design through the following functionalities:
- Add new module
- Add from external library
- Create new module
- Import module parameters (.PV settings file)
- View and edit module
- Duplicate or delete module
Add from external library
To add a module from an external library:
1. Click the Add new module button
2. Click Add from External Library
3. Type in keywords for the module(s) you are looking for
4. Use the filter to narrow down your results
5. Click to open each module and see more details
6. Click Save to My Library to start using the module in your designs
When the modules are added to your own library, you can find them in the module drop-down throughout the product.
Create new module
To create a new module:
1. Click the Add new module button; then select Create new
2. Fill in the fields with the required information and values
- General information
- Mechanical parameters
- Electrical parameters
3. Click Add to finalize. The new module will appear on the Modules list
Import module parameters
You can also import the module parameters from an existing file:
1. Click Add new module
2. Click Import .PVsettings file
3. Select a file from your device
4. Select Modules parameters from the available data and then click Import
5. Click Ok to finalize. The parameters will show up automatically on the list.
Export settings
As with modules, you can repeat this process at any point using the Export settings tool, to either import or export inverter parameters. This way, you can reuse them in other projects.
View and edit module
You can always go back to the module parameters to either view or edit your settings:
1. Click Open at the far right side of the window
2. Check and/or edit the settings and click Save or Cancel depending on whether you need to save any changes or not
Duplicate / delete module
Using the ellipsis menu you can:
- Duplicate a module — the new module will appear on the list marked as a copy. You can rename the module duplicate or edit its settings as you would with any module on the list.
- Delete a module — select Yes, delete to confirm your action.
