Automatically check relevant datasets for environmental regulatory features or species on the parcel. Use the results as a guide to evaluate environmental permitting needs in conjunction with other permits.
Introduction
Environmental permit analysis in PVcase Prospect helps you quickly identify potential environmental permitting challenges for your project site by highlighting key factors like wetlands, flood zones, and protected areas.
This allows you to spot possible issues early in the planning process, so you can avoid delays, reduce risks, and make more informed decisions about where to develop your project.
The analysis is not comprehensive, and other permits may be required.
Permit analysis is currently available for projects located in the United States.
Analyze parcels
To analyze your parcels, select Permit Analysis from the left sidebar and select Analyze.
View results
When the analysis is complete, a temporary data table appears showing the species ranges or water features that may be present on the parcel.
To export the data from this table, use the Export CSV button.
You can minimize the table to temporarily remove it from view.
If you close the table but want to see it again, rerun the Permit Analysis for the project.
Reports
For any parcels that have Permit Analysis results, the results also appear in the Parcel Report for the parcel. In addition to lists of features or species possibly relevant to the parcel, the report also includes information about the regulatory framework, such as permit timelines and helpful links.
