Overview
The Inverters library allows you to quickly access and replicate the setups of the inverters in your projects. It ensures simulations use the exact inverter data, improving energy yield accuracy.
You can access the Inverters library directly from the home page. Once inside, the corresponding control buttons allow you to perform different actions.
My inverters
Click on My inverters to see and manage the inverters you have already added. You can duplicate, edit or delete any of your inverters, as well as search for a specific one by inserting its name in the search bar. Here you can also add new inverters individually or as a batch.
Everyone’s inverters
Switch to Everyone’s inverters to view the inverters added by other members of your team.
You only have viewing access to these inverters, which means you should duplicate them before making any edits.
The ability to see and duplicate existing inverters allows you to easily compare and adopt configurations from your colleagues without starting from scratch, saving time and ensuring consistency across the organization.
Add new inverter
To add a new inverter, just click the Add new inverter button in the My inverters section.
In the pop-up, select one of the two Quick add options:
- Select from library, to reuse one of the existing inverters. This is similar to duplicating an inverter from the library.
- Upload OND file, to upload an inverter configuration already saved in your computer.
In both cases, you will be able to edit the data of the inverter using the corresponding fields. By clicking on each field, you will see some useful explanations at the top right corner of the pop-up.
Batch upload
To make the process even quicker, you have the option to upload multiple OND files simultaneously. The steps are easy and straightforward:
- Click the Batch upload button (right next to the Add new inverter button).
- Select all the OND files that you want to upload.
The inverters will immediately appear in the My inverters section.
OND files are text files that contain inverter specifications and are used to transfer inverter data between different programs. They are exported by PVSyst.
