Attach important project files to a specific project, parcel, substation, or line to make it easy to manage and share study documents, project files, etc. for a site.
Introduction
As you get into the development process, there can be many files to manage for a campaign, site, or individual parcel from lease documents to study files. This tool makes it seamless to keep track of those key files and ensure that everyone in your organization has access to them.
You can also easily cross reference files attached to individual parcels from the project page and vice versa.
Upload and attach files
- Go to the specific project or asset detail page (parcel, substation, line) you wish to attach files to
- Click the paperclip icon
- Select the files to attach. You can that in one of two ways:
- Drag and drop the file into the blue area of the import window
- Click the Browse Files button to select files from your computer
The file is now saved and available to any others in your organization.
When you upload files, they will always be added to the left tab even if you are looking at the tab on the right for related files.
Manage attached files
Once you have attached your files, you can view them and edit their details.
Edit details on attached files
To edit details of an attached file:
- Open the Attach Files side drawer
- Click the three-dot button next to the file name
- Edit any desired details
- Click Update to save
View previously attached files
Any attached files are available under the paperclip icon. All users within your organization can view, download, edit, and delete the attached files.
View files attached to an individual parcel from the project (and vice versa)
If you or someone in your organization attached a file to a specific parcel (or substation or line), you can then view that file from the parent project page (under Attached files).
Click the Related parcel & grid files tab to view related files to the child parcel/assets of the project.
From an individual parcel (or substation or line) page, you can view and attached files to the parent project as well.
Click the Related project(s) files tab to view related files from the parent project.
