Improvements
Aligned rows generation for E-W
Previously, the Aligned generation option was available only for fixed tilts and single-axis trackers. Now we have extended this option also to E-W mounts, enabling more realistic and reproducible outputs.
Just like other mounts, Aligned generation for E-W can be found within the Frame & Park settings.

Â
Increased rows limit for multi-row trackers
Multi-row trackers can now be configured to have up to 50 rows, giving ample margin to support the latest makes and models. The default motor position is the first row starting from the left.

Improved experience for placing shading objects
The shading object placement workflow was significantly improved to allow for more efficient representation of site conditions. It’s now possible to pick among different placement modes and objects are automatically adapted to the terrain.
Single
- Placement works as you already know it, one object per click.
- When the continuous mode is active, you can keep placing objects without opening the interface.
Batch
- Assumes there are points that represent where the object is supposed to be.
- After selecting the points, the details about the object dimensions previously entered are used.
Polyline (NEW)
- Objects will be placed along a polyline at the set distance.
- It’s also possible to select multiple polylines at once.
Now it’s also easier to use custom shading objects: just select it from the object menu, select it from the model space, and place it where you need it.
The supported types are Solid3D, SubDMesh, and PolyFaceMesh.Â
Only up to 50k polygons per object are supported, and it’s necessary to select one that is not on PVcase layers.

Â
Custom shading objects exportable to PVsyst
When exporting to PVsyst, custom shading objects are included in the PVC file.Â
Be aware that PVsyst might have size restrictions for import; it’s recommended to limit the use of shading objects whenever possible.
Â
PVcase Yield automatically handles custom shading objects for you, without the restrictions imposed by PVsyst.

Â
Single-axis trackers piles placement options
By default, when the Place piles at joints option is selected in our single-axis tracker configurator, the piles are positioned at the edges of the frame.Â
The configurations have been refined to allow for more precise control.
In particular, the Place piles at joints option has been separated into distinct settings, allowing you to specify the outcome you need.

Iterations: performance and accuracy improvements
We reduced the minimum allowed pitch step to 0.01m, and also made several performance improvements. These should result in a noticeably smoother user experience when using Capacity Iteration.
