The Labeling feature allows you to easily define and generate all your project-related labels in a few easy steps.
How to access the labeling feature:
You can find this feature in the Labeling option on the Ground Mount ribbon. For maximum flexibility, the feature remains accessible within the Frame and Park settings and the Electrical Devices tab.
How it works:
- Select Areas: Pick the PV area(s) you wish to label.
- Choose mode: Select between Mechanical or Electrical labels.
- Note: For electrical labels, you must first generate your electrical devices in order to apply labels.
- Configure Visibility: Use the Label Visibility column on the left to toggle ON/OFF full labels or specific parts of the label using the lightbulb icon. You can also change the order of variables in the label by dragging a label variable up or down, and the label will update in the preview diagram.
- Style & Edit: Click the “Aa” icon to adjust background colors and font sizes. To edit the label text, simply click the label in the live preview diagram on the right. You can also click the number variable to adjust leading zeros when editing the text.
- Set numbering order: For mechanical labels, configure the numbering order to control how labels are sequenced across the PV area by configuring horizontal and vertical order. Electrical labels will get placed based on device numbering settings in the electrical devices tab.
- Apply: Click Label area(s) to apply labels to your drawing. You can remove labels by clicking Remove labeling.
Additional capabilities
- Multi-area labeling for mechanical: You can select and label multiple PV areas at once.
- New Variables: You have the option to include the associated PV area number for all labels and Pile Height for mechanical labels. Additionally, Frame number association has been added for electrical string labels.
- Continuous frame numbering for mechanical labels: When turned ON, mechanical labels number sequentially across the entire PV area (e.g., 1 to 500). When turned OFF, numbering resets at the start of each row (e.g., 1 to 20 per row).
