To see the meteorological data, you need to find the project location on the map and select Use as location.
The irradiance, temperature, wind speed, and horizon profile data is retrieved automatically from PVGIS as our default data source. This data is presented in graphs:

Changing the data source
To change the Meteo data source, click on Change in the Data source section.
In the pop-up that will appear, select CSV and MET files and click Continue.
Learn more about the SolarAnywhere option in Integrations.
In the next pop-up, you will be able to select and set up your CSV file.
To do so, follow the steps below:
- Select the CSV file.
- Select the file’s time zone or the project location time zone.
- Add start and end time intervals.
- Map the data fields from the custom CSV file to match PVcase Yield required data fields.
- Click Confirm setup
Notes:
- When SolarAnywhere or SolarGIS CSV data is uploaded, all fields are auto-filled.
- If the coordinates in an uploaded meteo CSV file are different from the existing project coordinates, PVcase Yield will now automatically update the project coordinates to match those in the meteo file.
You can see all the steps below:
The specific meteo data source used will now be clearly indicated on both the Results page and the PDF export.
Changing the ground albedo
PVcase defaults the albedo value to 0.2. However, you can modify this value or input the monthly albedo values: just click on Change in the Ground albedo section, as shown below.
