You can choose to work with one or multiple zones simultaneously. Save zoning data to the parcel table for easy filtering and bulk deleting parcels outside of your target zone.
Overview
Removing parcels based on zoning ensures your project only includes land that meets your chosen zoning criteria.
There are two ways to remove parcels from your project based on zoning: by removing them within one zone (a single zoning area), or by removing them from multiple zones using either the polygon tool or the parcel tables.
One zone (select within)
Step 1 - Select parcels
Using Map Tools > Select by Polygon > Saved Assets and Drawings, create a custom polygon around the parcels you'd like to remove.
Step 2 - Select parcels within
Right-click on the copied element to bring up the edit menu pop-up, and click Select Within.
Step 3 - Delete parcels
The assets located within the zone will populate in the Map Selection box. Click the trash can icon to delete all assets in the map selection box.
If you have other assets or drawings in this zone, you may not want them deleted. Search or scroll through the list in the map selection box. Click the red X next to the items you want to keep. This ensures these items remain in your project.
Multiple zones (polygon tool)
Step 1 - Select parcels
Using Map Tools > Select by Polygon > Saved Assets and Drawings, create a custom polygon around the parcels you'd like to remove.
Step 2 - Delete parcels
The assets located within the zone will populate in the Map Selection box. Click the trash can icon to delete all assets in the map selection box.
If you have other assets or drawings in this zone, you may not want them deleted. Search or scroll through the list in the map selection box. Click the red X next to the items you want to keep. This ensures these items remain in your project.
Multiple zones (parcel table)
Ensure zoning data has been saved to the parcel table before proceeding.
Step 1 - Apply filter(s)
Apply one or more filters to bulk delete parcels that don't fit your zoning or other criteria.
Step 2 - Bulk delete
Select filtered results. Click the three-dot menu next to Selected (#) and click Remove from Project to delete parcels.
