You can choose to work with one or multiple zones simultaneously. Save zoning data to the parcel table for easy filtering and bulk deleting parcels outside of your target zone.
Overview
Adding parcels based on zoning means picking land that meets specific zoning requirements, ensuring your project aligns with local regulations from the start.
There are two ways to add parcels to your project based on zoning: by including parcels within one zone (a single zoning area) or across multiple zones (multiple zoning areas).
One zone
Step 1 - Select zone
Click on a desired zoning category polygon on the map and click Copy.
Step 2 - Parcel Search
From the copied element pop-up, click See Actions > Find Parcels within Polygon.
Multiple zones
This method features our Search around areas of interest functionality.
Step 1 - Select zones
With the zoning layer on, click Map Tools > Select by Polygon > Features from a Layer > Zoning
Step 2 - Create custom search polygon
Using the polygon tool, create a polygon around the target area.
Step 3 - Apply filters
Filter the table for desired attributes and select the filtered results.
Step 4 - Search around
Click Search Around to open the parcel search modal.
In the parcel search modal, enter minimum acreage and search distance.
Select a small distance to ensure parcels are confined to the zones specified in step 3 (i.e. 1 ft).
