Search for Parcels (steps)
Choose layer and desired search area
- Turn on the desired layer from the layer catalog
- Go to Map Tools and then Select by Polygon > Features from a Layer
- Select the Layer Name
- Trace out the desired area to select by clicking on the map
After drawing your polygon around the desired area, the layer features appear in the table viewer.

Search around
In the table, click the Search Around button. This opens the Parcel Search modal, where you can specify the desired parcel size and search distance.
- If you are using a layer consisting of polygons, use a small search distance (e.g. 1 ft) to ensure parcels fit within the polygons vs around them.
- To add all parcels in the search area regardless of acreage size, enter zero as the minimum.
Click Search to find how many parcels fit the criteria specified and Add to Project to add parcels.
