When you search for parcels you can include “stacked” parcels, which occur when a single parcel geometry has multiple records in our parcel database. This occurs when a parcel has multiple titles (commonly as part of a condominium complex or other co-ownership agreement).
Stacked parcels are generally ill-suited for utility-scale development and are excluded from search results by default, but can be included by clicking the Include Stacked Parcels checkbox.
How it works
If you want to see stacked parcels in your search results, check the Include Stacked Parcels checkbox.
For example, the area in the image below contains a condominium complex with stacked parcels.
A parcel search around the condominium finds 170 parcels, but only 49 parcels are added to the project. There are 121 “stacked” parcels that represent the condominium complex, which are filtered out by default.
If you want to override this filter and add stacked parcels to your project, you can override the filter by checking the Include Stacked Parcels checkbox.
