Create custom parcel

Use Map Tools to manually draw the boundaries of any site or parcel directly on the map. Once traced, simply save the outlined area as a new Land asset in your project. This is useful when you want to define and work with any land area you choose, regardless of predefined parcel data.

Create a custom parcel

  1. On the project map, go to the Map Tools dropdown menu
  2. In the drop down, select Draw / Add Marker

This will display the design toolbar in the top-center of the project map.

  1. In the toolbar, click on the free-form polygon tool

  1. Using your cursor, trace out the desired search area on the map, clicking the cursor to drop each corner of the polygon

  1. Click again the original starting point of the polygon to complete the area

  1. Once the search area has been traced, turn off the free-form polygon functionality by clicking on the hand icon in the design toolbar (or by toggling off the User Drawing Tools from the drawing menu)

Create Land asset from User Polygon

  1. Click on the polygon
  2. In the pop-up, click Create and then Land

Your custom parcel has been created!
