Data Center Community Sentiment Layers
Sentiment layer
AI aggregated public records, news, and municipal documents are now summarized into a visual Sentiment Layer, helping developers quickly identify areas of community support or policy alignment.Â
Previously, this required manually reviewing hundreds of documents; now you can assess favorability early in site analysis and prioritize locations with stronger local backing.
Opposition Layer
The new Opposition Layer highlights regions with documented resistance, restrictive policies, or active pushback against data center development. Instead of uncovering risks late in diligence, developers can proactively identify high friction areas upfront, reducing delays and avoiding dead-end sites during early screening.
How does it work?Â
Use the Data Center Quick Filter in the Layer Catalog to quickly locate Data Center layers and enable the Data Center Community Sentiment Layer.Â
From there, navigate the map to view county-level sentiment and click on counties of interest to see a favorability score along with an AI-generated summary of key insights.
