We are pleased to introduce our latest PVcase Prospect update, featuring a new Parcel Search tool to locate land in close proximity to fiber and gas infrastructure.
New feature
Parcel Search in Proximity to Fiber & Gas
Find parcels near fiber and gas infrastructure directly in Prospect, using RexTag's operational asset data. When scoping a data center site, you can now identify parcels near fiber for network connectivity and gas pipelines to support excess generation capabilities.
Note: This feature is available to teams with RexTag entitlement. Searches are limited to Operational assets; Abandoned, Retired, and other asset categories are visible as map layers but are not included in proximity searches. Fiber proximity searches specifically identify parcels near backbone fiber lines.
How does it work?
Two ways to search:
- Search around project assets AND Gas pipeline or Fiber - From the Add Land sidebar flow, run a Parcel search around your project assets AND within proximity to Fiber or Gas pipelines on the map to return parcels within your specified radius.
- Search within a polygon - Draw or select a polygon area and return parcels inside it that fall within proximity of operational fiber or gas infrastructure.
