What is K2 Base?
K2 Base (by K2 Systems) is an innovative planning tool K2 Base enables fast, safe and accurate planning of PV projects. In just five steps, you can design the most effective K2 mounting system and PV project setup for both pitched and flat roofs.
PVcase Roof Mount and K2 Base
Earlier this year, we launched our partnership with K2 Systems, to save you time and effort. If you’re using K2 mounting systems, you don’t need to recreate your layouts in PVcase; you can sync your K2 account with Roof Mount, import the projects and continue designing in Roof Mount.
Import K2 project
To import your K2 project to PVcase Roof Mount, follow the steps below:
1. After you’ve completed your project in K2 Base and it's ready to go, open a new blank drawing in AutoCAD.
2. Click on Import K2 Project in the ribbon menu.
3. Click Log in and enter your K2 Base account details.
4. Browse through the list of projects on your K2 Base account.
5. Select the project and click on Import.
6. Your building and layout are now imported into PVcase. They are PVcase objects, so you can continue to utilize other PVcase features.
