New features

Import designs from K2 Base

We are excited to launch our partnership with K2 Systems! To PVcase users who also use K2 mounting systems: you can now skip the time-consuming step of recreating your building and layouts in PVcase! With our partnership with K2, you can sync your K2 account, import the projects, and continue to design in Roof Mount.

How does it work? 

1.  After you’ve completed your project in K2 Base and it's ready to go, open a new blank drawing in AutoCAD.

2. Click on Import K2 Project in the ribbon menu.

3. Click Log in and enter your K2 Base account details.

4. Browse through the list of projects on your K2 Base account.

5. Select the project and click on Import.

6. Your building and layout are now imported into PVcase. They are PVcase objects, so you can continue to utilize other PVcase features!

Before running irradiance analysis or energy simulation, please make sure your coordinates are updated in PVcase Roof Mount.

 

Improvements

A new look for PVcase Roof Mount

As part of the PVcase rebranding, each of our products now has a new logo. You will see this new logo in the installer, AutoCAD ribbon, and throughout the PVcase Roof Mount interface.

Don’t worry though: all the tools you know and use have been kept in their exact spot in the ribbon.

Please note that, given the extensive nature of the PVcase rebranding, the Roof Mount content in our Help Center will be updated gradually.
