You can locate parcels based on known landowner name. There are two different methods to locate parcels.
Method 1 – Search for parcels by owner name (Add Land sidebar)
You can search for parcels by specifying an owner. The search area and minimum acreage fields remain mandatory.
- Click the Add Land sidebar button to open up the form
- Input parameters for acreage and search area
- Input Owner Name (or portion of owner name)
- If a single word is given (e.g. "Smith"), an exact match search on last name (surname) is performed.
- If more than one word is given (e.g. "Smith J"), a prefix match is performed. To perform a prefix match on a single word, add a star to the end of the word (e.g. "Smit*").
- An asterisk matches records where the owner name starts with the search phrase.
- Click Search to see how many parcels meet those search criteria
- Click Add to Project to pull the parcels into the project
Method 2 – Find parcels from same owner (of existing parcel on project)
This method allows you to if a land owner owns other land nearby. You can look up other parcels under the same land owner name as a parcel already saved on a project.
You can also leverage this search tool tool to locate parcels from a particular landowner even if no other parcels from that landowner have been identified yet. Input the desired land owner name in the Owner Name field.

- Click See Actions in the parcel pop up
- Select Find other parcels from owner
- Fill in desired parameters in the form
- Minimum Acreage

- (Optional) Override the landowner name from the original parcel with another name
- Search Region - choose state or county
- Click Search
- Click Add to Project to pull the parcels into the project
