View drawings on the map to understand locations of Exclusions and Intersections and identify the buildable area. Requires a prior run of the Buildable area analysis.
View the buildable area constraint maps
Running the Buildable area analysis task on a project creates Constraint maps for each parcel.
As the analysis runs, the constraint maps load into the map automatically.
Turn the constraint maps on and off via the constraint map icon on right-side of the map. Click the icon to hide the constraints OR re-display them again
To see the Constraint map drawings displaying on a project, make sure you've run the Buildable area analysis if you haven't already.
When opening large projects with Buildable area Analysis results, the Constraint map is toggled off by default to speed up load time. Use the Constraint map icon to display the results.
Hide/show individual constraint map layers
You can use the constraint map legend to show/hide different constraint map layers.
- To hide a constraint map layer, click on the layer name in the constraint map legend.
- To hide all layers at once, click the Constraint Map text at the top of the legend to auto-hide all the layers. From there, you can re-display individual layers, like the Buildable Area Layer
Review the drawings
Each drawing is represented by a different color on the map.
Click a drawing map to read more information about the drawing and that specific parcel.
When you click on an area in the constraint map, the popup includes tabs for all features in the area you clicked.
You can easily view information about each object (even when there are multiple on top of each other).
Click through the tabs to read more about each selected feature.
Review Buildable Area analysis settings
Need to see what analysis settings were used to generate the constraint maps on a project? The metadata is stored in the buildable area constraint map.
- Make sure the constraint maps are turned on/visible on the map
- Click any of the Constraint Map drawings
- In the Buildable area - Info tab on the popup, scroll to see the settings and values used in the analysis.
