Add notes about a parcel from the map pop-up, the Parcels tab (in-line), or the asset detail page. Then you can view and export your notes, which allows you to easily share and keep track of them.
Add a note
There are two ways to add a note to a parcel:
- From the parcel pop-up on the map
- From the Parcels tab on a project
- From the Asset detail page
From the parcel pop-up on the map
- Click on the parcel on the map
- Click the pencil icon
- In the Edit Asset Details window, use the right arrow button to scroll through the tabs
- Click on the Notes tab to access the notes field
- Input desired notes in the notes field and close modal when complete. Notes will be saved automatically.
From the Parcels tab on a project
Add notes to specific parcels
Double-click the Notes field in the parcel row to edit the notes in-line.
Add notes to multiple parcels
- Click the checkboxes next to the parcels you want to add a note to
- Filter the list first To find parcels with specific attributes, such as the landowner name or buildable area
- From the three-dot menu, select Bulk Edit
- Search for Notes and add the note you'd like to apply to all selected parcels
- Click Update
From the Asset detail page
- Go to the parcel asset detail page. There are two ways to that:
- Click on the parcel on the map and Select in the pop-up
- Click the parcel name (in blue) in the Parcels list
- On the Asset detail page, log any notes in the Notes box (top-left corner of the page)
Notes will be saved automatically as you type.
View/export parcel notes on a project
Once you've added a note to at least one parcel on a project (via the parcel asset detail page as shown above), there will be a column called Notes.
You can display that column in the Parcels list and/or export it along with any other parcel data.
Display notes
- On the Parcels list, click the Columns button (right-side of the table)
- Scroll through (or search) for the column called Notes
- Check the box by the column name
Collapse the Columns sidebar once the you have selected the desired columns by clicking the Columns button again.
Export notes
The notes column will now display in the table. You can now export your notes as an Excel/CSV spreadsheet.
