Manage your custom layers in PVcase Prospect easily and efficiently. Save new custom layers, edit their names and visibility, or delete them when they’re no longer needed. Follow these steps to keep your project layers organized and current.
Save an unsaved layer
Permanently save your imported custom layers so that they are always available to you and your colleagues.
The three-dot menu next to the layer in the Unsaved Layer section of the Layer Catalog includes the following options:
- Save layer to Project
- Save layer to Team
- Save layer to Company Portfolio
Choosing one of these save options makes the layer permanently available in the Layer Catalog, appearing in different sections of the catalog based on whether you saved the layer to the project, team, or company portfolio.
The three-dot menu is contextual, which means that you're saving to the Project, Team, or Company Portfolio you are currently using. If you are currently in Portfolio View, which lacks context for a specific project, Save Layer to Project is not an available option.
Save Layer to Project (or parcel)
This will save the layer so that it's visible in your company's layer catalog for that specific project only (or that specific parcel only).
Save Layer to Team
This will save the layer so that it's visible in your company's layer catalog for that specific US state or country team you were using at the time of saving the layer.
Save Layer to Company Portfolio
This will save the layer so that its visible both in the Portfolio View layer catalog and in the layer catalog for any project, regardless of the state or country team the project belongs to.
