In this release:

Convert to PVcase Roof Mount

With this newly introduced feature, you can convert your existing drawing, created by a different tool, to Roof Mount and dive right into detailed design. You are able to convert:

  • Roofs

  • Roof shading objects

  • Modules

Note. Currently, we support these files:

  • only .dwg files and specific CAD component properties

    • Convert Roofs that are 3D objects made from Polymeshes

    • Convert Roof shading objects that are 3D objects made from Polymeshes

    • Convert Modules that are 2D rectangles made from single polyline

  • HelioScope files in .dwg format

Voltage Drop details in the Bill of Materials

In 1.40, we introduced the voltage drop feature by suggesting suitable cable cross-section values based on the desired voltage drop % in the printed SLD. In this update, we've further enhanced and incorporated voltage drop details in the Bill of Materials (BOM) so you can have your cabling material details in one view.

In the downloaded BOM, you can find the following new details:

  • Module Specifications: Module Vmpp (V) and Module Impp (A).

  • Voltage Drop Details: Users can view both the Desired Voltage Drop and the Actual Voltage Drop, ensuring design expectations align with reality.

  • Material Specification: The Material used- Copper or Aluminum.

  • Cross-Section Information: IEC (mm²) and NEC (AWG) cross-section values.

This feature improves transparency and accuracy, allowing for improved design validation and streamlined project execution.

By selecting multiple shading objects, you can now edit and update the object properties in one go.


How to access the edit functionality?

  1. Select one or more shading objects.

  2. Right-click to see 'Roof Mount'.

  3. Click 'Edit object properties'.

You can now easily access support materials and submit feedback by clicking on the 'Help' icon in the ribbon menu.
