Leverage Drone Imagery in PVcase Roof Mount with Airteam
With our collaboration with Airteam, you can maximize your drone surveillance data more efficiently in Roof Mount. Airteam's AI-powered platform can analyze HD drone imagery and produce a highly accurate PVcase Roof Mount compatible .dwg for your building environment. In a few clicks, you can convert your building and shading objects and dive right into design in PVcase.
How does it work?
You first need to provide your project details and images on Airteam’s platform, then you will be notified when your PVcase Roof Mount .dwg file is ready for download.
1. Log in to your Airteam platform.
2. Create a project
3. Fill in project details and select PVcase Roof Mount file type
4. When the project is created, click on the project and go to the Data tab. Upload your HD drone images under the Flight - Pictures - Technical section. There is a minimum requirement of 50 images, as this ensures high quality and accurate 3D model and .dwg output.
5. When the processing is complete, Airteam will inform you the PVcase file is now ready to download. Go to the project, to the Data tab and scroll down to find the file.
6. Airteam also provides high definition, interactive 3D models of your building. In the project, click on the Open 3D model to view.
Once you’ve received your PVcase Roof Mount .dwg file, you can now bring the project into PVcase:
1. Open the PVcase Roof Mount .dwg in AutoCAD
2. Open the Convert Drawing feature in Roof Mount and select Airteam as the file type
3. Convert the roofs of your project. The Convert tool is already defaulted to the .dwg layer which the roofs are on in the Airteam file. Click Pick to Convert and select the whole drawing, PVcase will convert only the roof parts
4. Convert the shading objects of your project. As you shuffle through the Object types (i.e. AC, Chimney, Blocks), Roof Mount will update the layer selection for the .dwg according to the Object type you’d like to convert. You can simply click Pick to Convert and select the whole drawing, PVcase will convert only the selected shading objects labeled as the Object type in the .dwg.
5. In a few simple clicks, your building is now accurately represented in PVcase Roof Mount! Continue your design in PVcase to optimize your site.
