When you export an asset list from a project to an Excel/CSV spreadsheet, Excel might automatically remove leading zeros from data like APNs. This article shows you how to fix the formatting in Excel if this happens.
How to override Excel formatting and show leading zeros
- Export the excel file from PVcase Prospect
- Right-click the header of the APN column in the spreadsheet
- Click Format Cells
- Click Custom in the Category section (left side of the window)
- In the Type field, type in 0s for each digit of the number (e.g. if the APN is 13 digits long, type in 13 zeros)
- Click OK
